Widely recognized as “one of the important Chopin pianists of our time” (Fanfare Magazine) and a top prize winner at both the International Chopin and Tchaikovsky Competitions, world-renowned pianist Kevin Kenner makes a rare Cleveland appearance, who joins the award-winning Callisto Quartet for a program featuring Chopin’s concert works arranged for piano and chamber ensemble. The performance highlights both the brilliance of Chopin’s writing and expressive depth of Kenner's artistry which The Washington Post has described as “powerful and eloquent.” During his residency, Mr. Kenner will also teach a masterclass in the Dodero Center for Performing Arts at Gilmour Academy on Sunday, January 25 from 1-4 PM.
