Welcome to join us for an evening of deep connection, community spirit and singing of devotional Heartsongs and Mantras with Byron Bay's own world traveling chant leader Kevin James.He and his partner Susana will lead the circle, joining hearts together in song and Mantras to re-connect, remember who we are and return home to the heart.
Kevin James' Chanting Circles are a co-creative and empowering experience that can have you singing your heart out, dancing in bliss and diving deep into the profound silence that follows.
He and his partner Susana have been traveling the globe with the intention of joining hearts together with Mantra and Heartsongs to re-connect and remember who we are beyond the illusions of ego. Kevin believes from this state of being we can be harmonious in our existence..
Weaving ancient Mantra’s with his own HeartSongs, Kevin’s music is a world fusion of devotional chanting, drawing upon influences from traditional Indian Kirtan, Rainbow Bhajans, Celtic and Sufi chants mixed with western folk sounds.The songs and mantras of Kevin James Carroll are about re-connection. They are a gift to the many hearts remembering the ONE. An expression of the movement of realization that is spreading across the planet right now.This is a movement that honors the ancient cultures and religions of the world, embracing their commonality… their Oneness. Each Heartsong is a modern devotional Hymn, a song of clear intent and purpose: to expand awareness beyond the thinking mind, to enter the bliss of the heart.
Sit back and take in the vibes or sing soft sweet simple melodies and let your voice fly with ascending choruses, followed by a flute meditation that takes you on a sound journey to the Himalayas.
Sound Journey
After we chant, we will embark on a Sound Journey with the sound frequencies of the
flute and Crystal bowls that travel straight to the heart and work their way up to open our minds to the higher realms of existence.
Get comfortable and focus on the sense of listening. Allow yourself to be taken on a journey into the unknown with the meditative and hauntingly beautiful sound of Japanese Shakuhachi bamboo flute, together with the healing sounds of the Crystal bowls.
