Nashville-based alternative country-rock singer/songwriter Kevin Gordon returns to The Hook & Ladder’s Mission Room along with James Loney and Todd Fink for an evening of outstanding song and music.

was born and raised in Monroe, Louisiana, and grew up on a steady diet of the area's indigenous swamp blues, honky tonk, and rockabilly. A published poet and graduate of the University of Iowa Writers' Workshop, he teamed with producer and E Street Band bassist Garry Tallent to record his debut, Illinois 5 a.m.; Down to the Well followed and featured a duet with Lucinda Williams.
Gordon's songs have also been recorded by the likes of Keith Richards, Levon Helm, Irma Thomas, Todd Snider, and more.

has been writing songs for 30 years. His songs are stark, beautiful, emotional and very real. He’s had his work featured in two major motion pictures (Jeremy Piven's "Just Write" and Kirsten Dunst's "Luckytown").
Loney has always surrounded himself with the best musicians that the twin cities has to offer whether with his previous bands House Of Mirrors, The Midnight Troubadours or his most recent project Lolos Ghost.

Fink has won three Grammy Awards, three American Music Awards, and numerous RIAA gold and platinum awards for his work with Prince and The Revolution.
