Project synopsis
Moderan is a short animation loosely inspired by the David R Bunch science fiction novel of the same name. The film unfolds through a series of interlocking vignettes and animated riddles depicting a plastic laminated, post-human Earth and probes the lingering anxieties still present after the merging of human and machine. It’s a 2D animation, drawn in TVPaint, and will run about 10 minutes when completed.
