This workshop is a MUST for anyone new to Kettlebell training and a compulsory part of the Adaptive Strength training system.
During the workshop we deep dive into two of the most important fundamental kettlebell techniques.
1) The Kettlebell Swing
2) The Get Up (Turkish Get Up)

The Kettlebell Swing
The Kettlebell Swing offer a huge "bang for your buck" in terms of time, training stimulus, and FUN.
You may have even been training with the kettlebell swing for some time, but are you doing it correctly?
Your StrongFirst Certified coach will break down the technical elements of the swing in detail to help you get the most out of this powerful exercise.
Whether you are totally new to kettlebell swings, or would like to refine your technique, this workshop is a must to attend.
You will learn:
-The exercise benefits of the kettlebell swing for developing lower body strength and power.
-To identify the individual components of the swing.
-The difference between a squat and a hip hinge.
-How to execute a correctly performed kettlebell swing.
-Basic corrective technique to help you progress at home after the workshop.
-How to safely progress from hip hinge and foot position all the way to one hand swing.
-How to program the kettlebell swing into your training
The Get Up (Turkish Get Up)
If you could only do one exercise it would be the Kettlebell Turkish Get Up.
Mastering the Turkish Get Up to bullet-proof your body and develop the mobility and stability you needed in daily life.
You will learn:
- Corrective Exercises for the TGU
- Tips on how to master the TGU

Over the 2hr workshop we will equip you with all the necessary skills to perform the Kettlebell Swing and Get Up safely so you can either begin or progress in your training.

Please Note: This NOT a workout! It is 2 hours of in-depth instruction on just 2 exercises.
However, do wear your gym gear, because you will sweat.
