About this Event
An evening of quirky, mellifluous and humorous a cappella singing.
Looking for an opportunity to arrange and sing the more unusual songs of the popular idiom, David Yapp enlisted his singing friends Adam Barber (co arranger), Neil Bett, John Drowley, Tom Allen and Jorge Sved. Known by audiences in the South West for the past 10 years for their quirky and harmonious vocal stylings, Kettle Of Fish continue to be Bristol’s BEST 6-man flowery-shirted a cappella group with a fish-based name. Their repertoire now ranges from the well-known and well-loved to the comical and the undiscovered gems, the witty and the moving, the sublime and most definitely the ridiculous. Paul Simon, Nick Drake, Frank Sinatra, Bo Burnham, Pino Donaggio and other lesser known artists will be thrown together for a multi-timbral jam of epic proportions.
At times strangely beautiful, at other times beautifully strange and often just silly, this is a night of a capella wonders.
