Cyd Smith
Genre blending/bending singer, songwriter, and guitarist
Cyd started her musical journey in her teens as a classical guitarist, majored in music at Stanford University, and then found her singing voice through the great jazz standards of the 20s/ 30s/40s. She produced her first album of original songs in the 1990s, collaborating with musicians such as Joe Pass and many Northwest luminaries. Her songs weave together her original influences with the various strands of American folk and pop music. With tenderness, wonder, wit, and well-crafted irony, her songs engage and surprise. She has toured and worked with artists as diverse as Laurie Lewis, Mary Flower, Rebecca Kilgore, and Russ Barenberg. Now based in Seattle, she performs regularly in concert settings, coffee houses, and bars.

Kristina Olsen
Award-winning songwriter and mul2-instrumentalist with a big bluesy voice
Touring, writing, performing, storytelling, and composing, Kristina Olsen has led a highly successful musical career. She has travelled the world with her mix of powerful songs ranging from sassy bottleneck blues to lilting ballads to swing jazz to raunch and roll--all this interlaced with storytelling worthy of a standup comic. She has released her 15th musical recording, Sweet Sillness, as well as published her first book They Paid Us in Tub Time. Her songs have been recorded by Eric Bibb, Fairport Convention, Mary Coughlan, Maddy Prior, and Mollie O’Brien among others. She has been a session player for Michelle Shocked, Rikki Lee Jones, and Mary Coughlan. She holds a Bachelor’s of Music from Berklee College of Music in guitar and interdisciplinary studies.
