And They’re Off…🌹Join the Fort Thomas Recreation Department for our first ever stick pony race!
🏇The race will take place at the Tower Park Softball Field at 7pm on Friday, May 1st.
🧲All jockeys and DIY’ers of all ages are invited! Each jockey will CREATE their own stick pony at home. Jockeys will run together (by age group) once around the softball field to crown the winner! Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. In addition, we will have awards for: 🏆Most Realistic 🏆Best Use of Materials, 🏆Most Pretty Pony and 🏆Most Handsome Pony.
🐴There is no restriction on materials. Suggestions include: dowel rods, pool noodles, wood, yarn, styrofoam, old belts, socks, oven mitts, ribbon, googly eyes, hot/fabric glue, felt, wrapping paper roll, construction paper, poster board, foam sheets, cardstock etc. Be creative and have fun!
