Join us as we celebrate new album releases by Kent Burnside (Hill Country Blood) and Mark Cameron (Blues Factory) with a double album release party.
Grandson of Hill Country Blues legend R.L. Burnside, Kent Burnside blends Mississippi Hill Country, Delta, Chicago Blues, and Blues-Rock into a style all his own. After early touring with Jimbo Mathus and opening for Buddy Guy, Kent built a 20-year career fronting his own band. His new album, Hill Country Blood, produced by GRAMMY winner Boo Mitchell, features eight originals plus covers of John Lee Hookerand Junior Kimbrough. Raw, soulful, and high-energy, the record honors tradition while forging ahead.
Hill Country Blood debut, carrying forward the legacy of his grandfather while carving out his own distinct voice in the blues world. Kent infuses his sound with a fiery dose of Blues-Rock energy and boldly reshapes the genre by blending the deep, hypnotic rhythms of Hill Country Blues with the raw energy of Blues-Rock, the soulful spirit of the Delta, and the urban grit of Chicago.

Known as a prolific songwriter and charismatic front man, Mark Cameron has enjoyed sustained success over more than 40 years in live music by delivering high-energy live performances along with chart topping blues albums.
Mark’s newest release, Blues Factory continues his long string of highly-acclaimed albums. His 2023 release Nasty Business reached Number 2 on the US Top 50 Contemporary Blues Charts and was the winner of a "Global Music Silver” award for outstanding achievement. Mark’s 2021 release Back from the Edge reached the Top 4 on the International Blues Charts and won a global music award.
Previous releases include 2019’s On a Roll which reached Number 5 on the International Blues Charts and was the Number 1 album in Minnesota for 18 straight weeks. The album was voted the “Best Independently Produced Album” by the Minnesota Blues Society and received glowing reviews from the worldwide blues press.
