Kenneth Peloke: Year of the Horse

Gallery MAR is pleased to present a summer exhibition featuring new work by Kenneth Peloke, opening July 18th with an artist reception from 6–9 pm at Gallery MAR in Park City.

Working in oil on large-format canvases, Kenneth Peloke approaches the horse not as subject but as a vessel for energy, instinct, and the kind of presence that resists easy translation into paint. His process is physical and deliberate, built through layers of mark-making that accumulate into something that feels less rendered than conjured.

Year of the Horse brings together new works that explore what the animal has always represented in the human imagination: freedom, strength, the untamed thing we are drawn to and can never fully possess.
