For ages 18+ in the Civic Auditorium. Ken Snow and the Linear Groove Jazz Band will showcase sounds of the ’60s, ’70s, and contemporary arrangements.A freelance saxophonist (classical/jazz), Ken leads the six-piece jazz group Linear Groove. Spending the last 12 years directing the band at McKinney Christian Academy, he holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Hardin-Simmons University and a Master of Music in Saxophone Performance from the University of Kentucky.
The other members of the band include, on trumpet, Jason Webb, trombonist Chad Wood, pianist Nick Messick, bass guitarist James Driscoll, and drummer Mark Mulligan.
