The Museum of Culpeper History will host a series of gatherings to discuss the new documentary series, “The American Revolution,” directed by Ken Burns, Sarah Botstein, and David Schmidt. This six-part, 12-hour documentary explores our nation's founding struggle and the eight-year War for Independence. Each gathering will feature casual group discussions to share observations and insights about the information and ideas presented in the series, with one episode covered at each meeting. A volunteer facilitator will lead the discussions.
These gatherings will provide an opportunity to connect with fellow community members who share an interest in the history of the American Revolution, especially as we commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
Participants are encouraged to watch each episode on their own before attending the gathering for that episode.
Please register for each date you plan to attend.
