Kempenfest is celebrating 54 years, July 31 - Aug 3, 2026!Kempenfest, presented by TD, is Barrie Ontario’s signature festival event, Simcoe County's largest festival by attendance (100,000+), and one of Ontario’s largest waterfront festivals spanning 1.5 km’s of festival programming.
The annual event features 300 arts & crafts vendors, 30 food vendors, a midway with over 30 rides & games, 30 antique dealers, face painters, buskers, a poutine village, and 2 stages of live music with over 75 live performances.
Kempenfest attracts a diverse, multi-cultural audience of over 100,000 unique attendees annually (across 4-days) and generates an estimated $9,500,000 in tourism-induced economic impact for the City of Barrie. The event is recognized within FEO’s Top-100 Festival & Events Ontario.
