Show starts at 7:00pm.Kellye Howard, an Air Force veteran turned stand-up comedian, actress, writer, and speaker can next be seen recurring on the STARZ series POWER BOOK IV: FORCE. Kellye’s other television acting credits include FOX’s EMPIRE, NBC’s CHICAGO FIRE, NBC’s CHICAGO JUSTICE, the Russo’s Brothers film CHERRY released in 2021.
As a standup comedian, she has been featured on Comedy Central, TBS, NBC, FOX, WGN, as well as several other media outlets. Kellye has written, directed, and coproduced three-one person shows. Her most recent one woman show, ‘CRAZY OR NAH?!' debuted August 2022 at the famed Steppenwolf Theater in Chicago to a sold-out run. ‘CRAZY OR NAH’ tells a winding road story about the lasting effects of emotional and psychological trauma, centered around mental illness, grief, and resilience using stand-up comedy, poetry, and storytelling. Her other one person shows are 'UNMARRIED, THE NAKED TRUTH’ an original one act play, coproduced by former Onion writer Jason Rhee and ‘TRANSPARENT', a stand-up comedic rendition of ‘UNMARRIED...’.
Kellye is also the creator and cohost of the podcast ‘BE LESS PETTY,’ an entertaining, educational, and empowering exploration of a variety of life’s confusing, at times traumatic, but more often petty and even laughable situations and emotions; co-hosted by licensed Illinois therapist Alexandra Garcia. It is available to stream on YouTube and all known podcast streaming platforms.

Commonwealth Sanctuary is housed in the recently renovated, historic former Tower Methodist Church, originally built in 1914. It is no longer a church! Rather, we have converted the purpose of this beautiful old building to bringing you exquisitely curated live entertainment. We have, however, gone to great lengths to preserve the original character of the building while updating for it’s new purpose. We retained all the original stained glass windows and custom-built, curved pews.
We have added a full concession stand with draft beer and wine, as well as many canned drinks, including cocktails and Delta-9 beverages. We partner with local Dayton, KY business Kate’s Catering for our prepared food options. We have added full lighting and sound systems, as well as a complete broadcast-quality video system for recording events and live podcasts. We are exclusively partnered with Third Rule Media to produce our recorded content.
