• The role of parents and carers, Managing difficult feelings, Nurturing ourselves
Week 2 – Appropriate Expectations
• Understanding what’s age-appropriate, Building your support network, Clear
communication
Week 3 – Boundaries and Positive Discipline
• Parenting styles, Calming strategies, Problem-solving and negotiation
Week 4 – Empathy
• Choosing how we respond, Practising empathy, Empathy for both children and
adult
