An Overview of Florida HOA Law
According to HOA-USA, there are over 370,000 homeowner
associations in the U.S., which represents over 40 million
households, or 53% of owner-occupied households in
America. The desire for safe and secure living conditions
has never been higher. This two-hour class is designed to
introduce real estate professionals to the role an HOA plays
in home ownership, common terminology used to describe
various types of homeowner’s associations, certificates, and
estoppel letters. This course will provide statutory guidelines
on turnaround times for receiving HOA certificates, cap on
fees, and legal requirements for information included on
the certificate.
This course is eligible for 2-Hr CE Credit.
