About this Event
Adopting a tree provides huge visual appeal and can significantly enhance the design of a streetscape. Planting trees remains one of the most cost-effective ways of drawing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
It's why 'Keep Miami Gardens Beautiful' is having an Arbor and Earth Day Tree Giveaway on April 25th from 8:30 am to 12 noon (while supplies last).
Participants will be given two trees from a list of over a dozen varieties. The quantities vary, so they'll be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. No rainchecks and no walk-ups. Tree(s) are free to those who pre-register.
The variety of trees includes: Barbados Cherry, Longan, Sweet Sop,Sugar Apple, Sour Sop, Avocado, Guava, Mulberry, Papaya, Mango, Cashew, Carambola, Pigeon Plum, Jamaica Caper, and Stoppers.
Participants must have proof of residency in the City of Miami Gardens.
