The Roundhouse Aquarium, managed by the Oceanographic Teaching Stations, Inc., will be holding its Keep it Green, Keep it Clean Earth Day Celebration. An annual festival that provides educational activities and opportunities to celebrate natural resources. This event will take place in person at the Roundhouse Aquarium and will feature fun, interactive, and hands-on activities that promote sustainable living and environmental stewardship with activity and exhibitor booths set up inside and outside of the Roundhouse Aquarium.

- 11:30 a.m. Plankton Races
- 12:30 p.m. Learn about our fish and watch them eat!

Sponsored by Skechers, Chevron, DiveNSurf, and the Lesser Family, with event partners Lazy Acres and Raising Cane’s, the event offers a perfect way for children and adults to celebrate Earth Month.
Participating exhibitors CalState Long Beach’s Shark Lab and DiveNSurf will discuss sharks, ocean conservation, and beach safety. Additional exhibitors from West Basin Municipal Water District, Water Replenishment District, and Climate Lobby will share information about sustainable freshwater use and climate change adaptation. Crafts, games, and face painting will be facilitated by Roundhouse volunteers and members of the National Charity League.

All visitors are welcome to explore the aquarium during public hours of 10AM to 7PM. Donations are appreciated at the entrance, but entry is free of charge.
