When school’s out but parents are still working, KEEN has you covered! Join us for Winter Camp, a two-session winter adventure filled with outdoor fun, science, and cozy camp vibes. Kids will explore the Yakima Canyon in its quiet winter beauty—tracking animal footprints, learning how wildlife adapts to the cold, building snow shelters (weather permitting), and warming up with hot cocoa around the campfire.
Each day blends hands-on environmental education with classic winter play—crafts, games, stories, and plenty of fresh air. Campers will connect with nature, make new friends, and experience the wonder of winter in the shrub-steppe.
