Keegan McInroe is a writer, musician, and international touring artist based in Fort Worth, Texas. Keeping in spirit with his predecessor troubadouring minstrels, Keegan has spent the better part of the last two decades traversing the roads, wildernesses, and cities of the Old World and New, weaving the resulting experiences and observations together with varied influences from folk, country, and the blues to create an original and evolving tapestry of story-driven American roots music.
Keegan will be joined by Morris Windsor (drums) & Jon Buckett (Keys).
Morris was a founding member of influential band The Soft Boys alongside Robyn Hitchcock, Andy Metcalfe & Kimberley Rew on their debut 1979 lp "A can of Bees", and 1980 follow up, "Underwater Moonlight". Their style of psychedelic music and retro folk-rock had a big influence on the development of jangle pop, indie rock and neo-psychedelia during the 1980s and beyond. Robyn Hitchcck & the Egyptians, Three Minute Tease and a storied career followed. Morris still plays alongside Robyn Hitchcock.
Jon has been a member of twice UK No1 folk album artist Gaz Brookfields' band since 2015, and also tours with Grammy Balloted Californian Alt-rocker, Scott Mickelson. His playing appears on releases by Colin Moulding (XTC), Micky Moody (Whitesnake), Innes Sibun (Robert Plant Band), Gaz Brookfield, Scott Mickelson, and many more. Jon & Keegan met whilst performing at a festival in Bosnia in 2009 and have enjoyed musical adventures together ever since.
