Kedu is a 6 piece group formed in London that combines West African music with Jazz.Drawing influence from Ghanaian highlife, Mandé griots and rumba, this group fuses intensive rhythms and grooves with melodic storytelling and improvisation.
Lead by Congolese Guitarist and vocalist Daniel Ndaty and percussionist Paddy Davies, this band is backed by some of London’s most exciting new jazz musicians: Joseph Bazalgette on flute, Dom Howard on Electric Guitar, George Balmont on Bass, Simon Spies on Drum kit.
