About this Event
Welcome to the KCFD Open House for Firefighter Applicants! Join us at 5130 Deramus Ave for a day filled with information, demonstrations, and opportunities to learn more about becoming a firefighter with the Kansas City Fire Department.
Individuals will receive demonstrations of apparatus, ambulance, pumper, and truck equipment. They will also walk through the Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT).
Individuals will be required to sign a waiver to participate. Mandatory attire will be workout clothes, no shorts, no open-toe shoes, and no Crocs. All participants should bring a refillable water bottle.
Ages are limited to 18-29 year olds only.
