🎥 KCAT TV CAMP (Daily 9am-1pm)
Be the story. Report it. Produce it.
Based at the KCAT studios, campers step into the fast-paced world of TV and digital media. From downtown reporting to green-screen weather, podcasting, and reels, campers learn how real stories are captured and shared.
Highlights include:
- TV studio production

- Creating a full news-style show

🎬 KCAT SUMMER MOVIE CAMP (Daily 1pm - 5pm)
Act it. Write it. Film it.
A fully immersive filmmaking experience on a larger campus—with lunch included. Campers dive deep into movie-making from auditions to final edits, working together to bring original stories to life.
Highlights include:
- Acting & audition practice
- Story building & script writing
- Costume, makeup & prop design
- Team-based film production
- Editing time for camper projects
