Minami Community Foundation

A private foundation established in 1991 to support scholarships and community-based projects in the Kaneohe community. They have given out over $1 million since 2015 in support of the community.

John Reppun

A dedicated community advocate recognized for his lifetime support of planning in the Northern Ko‘olaupoko community. ​ For over three decades, he has been involved in grassroots efforts and projects, supporting community voices in planning decisions for an underserved agricultural area. ​ He has served as a member of the Kahalu‘u Neighborhood Board #29, the Executive Director of KEY Project, a farmer in the Waiāhole community, and a volunteer on various boards and taskforces. ​ Mr. Reppun has played a crucial role in numerous community-initiated efforts, including the establishment of Kahalu‘u Regional Park and the preservation of Waiāhole Beach Park and He‘eia Kea lands. His commitment to community planning has significantly shaped the future of Northern Ko‘olaupoko. ​

An experienced commercial business, small business and non-profit financial advisor with over 25 years in banking, leading people and community service. Skilled in Business Advising, Business Lending, Financial Analysis, and Consumer Lending. Strong community and extensive Board experience. Financial Professional with a graduate-level banking education focused in Management and Leadership from Pacific Coast Banking School. Air Force veteran educated and knowledgeable in change management practices emphasizing "people empowerment, education and encouragement". Enjoys helping people and organizations realize their potential!
