Join Nebraska Game and Parks outdoor educators and partners for a night of kayaking and cleaning up your local aquatic habitat at Zorinsky Lake on Tuesday evening, August 11. Because what’s good for wildlife is good for people too. This is part of our statewide kayak clean up series. Once a year we gather at multiple locations on the same evening and work to collect a large amount of trash. This teamwork builds a great community!
We will provide trash bags and gloves for all those interested in helping to clean up trash while on the water. We will meet at the Zorinsky Lake Trailhead parking lot, just East of 168th street on the North side of the lake.
Safety and basic instruction will be given at the beginning of the event. You will be emailed prior to the event to confirm your registration and any needed details.
This event is free and we welcome you to either borrow a kayak or bring your own! Due to limited kayak supply, we do require registration.
