5am-3pm - Fishing Competition
2pm-4pm - Measure-In (Algies Bay Reserve
4pm-5pm - BBQ & picnic!
5pm-5.30pm - Prize Giving at Algies Bay
Great prizes for both Kids and Adults for:
- Snapper average length (max 2 snapper from each participant)
- Longest Fish per species – Snapper, Trevally, Kahawai (1 fish per species)
- Longest other species – excluding sharks and stingray
- Cutest dressed up fish (Kids only) – any species 1 fish per Kid
- Mystery fish (Kids only) – any fish you think looks odd, different, ugly or a little strange 1 fish per Kid
Raffles and Spot prizes
- All measured fish donated to Organisers
- All donated fish filleted & handed out to entrants
- Fundraising for Kawau Volunteer Coastguard & Snells Beach School
Sausage Sizzle, Candyfloss, Marshmallow Toasting, filleting stations etc
Heaps of fun and fantastic prizes
Fishing can be by boat, kayak, jet ski, beach, wharf or rocks within Fishing Club “Kawau Coast Boundaries” (please see Rules and Regulations for full details)
