Ahhhhh Spring!! Meet us at the Katy Trail Airline/North Trailhead for a leisurely 3.5mi walk in Dallas' iconic urban greenbelt park built on an abandoned Union Pacific railroad line. We'll be stopping for brunch at the Katy Trail Ice House around 11-11:30am. Wear your Peace Corps shirts and feel free to join us for the walk, brunch or both!There is limited street parking available near the trailhead on Knox St. + Airline Rd and more available at Mockingbird Station. Please plan to arrive early to find parking as we will start walking at 9:30am. We will plan on ridesharing back to trailhead at the end.
The Katy Trail is considered 'highly accessible' with an 8ft wide concreate path and is relatively flat. Please follow the link for more information about the trail https://katytraildallas.org/trail-info/
