This workshop focuses on Silk Veil Fan Dance Joy!

Dance is proven to help us release, interpret and express motions and regulate our nervous system. Dancing with large and flow props adds to these benefits and brings with it a joy that many fan dancers describe as "flying". Feel free to bring your own flow props if you have them. There will be some items for students to borrow in class time. We also have affordable home practice fan veils and other flow props available to purchase at class. Classes are connection and experience based not performance based however optional performance opportunities are available for students who are interested.

Our classes are safe spaces all LGBTIQA+ dancers, BIPOC dancers and dancers of all abilities welcome. No disrespectful towards teachers or other students will be tolerated. This is a condition of booking. All adult dancers are welcome to dance with us. By signing up, you acknowledge that it is your responsibility to give any medical clearances before class, and while all care is taken, Moonflower Movement is not responsible for any injury sustained before, during, or after class. You agree that any photos or videos you pose for may be used on socials.
