Runcible Spoon is Joce Moen and Tina Low. The duo use rich and intricate folk blues and roots inspired harmonies to create unique songs about trying to hold onto the roller-coaster of life, family life, wildlife, and more.
Joce is an artist who has worked and performed music across Australia, Europe and Canada. She composes songs in French and English. She has written, directed and conducted several musicals for children, and she has directed community choirs including 'Daylight' and 'Voila!' in the Blue Mountains. Joce is presently collaborating on a women's musical with William Shakespeare called “Omen”.
Tina is a singer-songwriter and sometimes environmental scientist who writes music in English, Indonesian and Chinese. Tina is fond of weaving comedy, science, myth and curveballs together into unique musical blends.
Runcible Spoon's music is influenced by the duo’s adventures as mothers, their cultures, a love of story-telling, laughter, and fascination for the natural world.
