In this hands-on workshop, Kathy will guide participants through the signature layering technique that defines Frozen Pond. Whether you are new to the technique or looking to refine your results, this workshop offers rare access to Kathy’s expertise, insights, and creative philosophy.
Designed for beginner/intermediate potters, this immersive 4-hour workshop will guide you step-by-step through Kathy’s Frozen Pond glazing process.
What to Bring:
Bring one 8" plate or bowl in bisqueware.
If you are unable to have a bisqued piece ready by the workshop date, a limited number of pieces will be available for purchase for $25 each.
What’s Included:
All glazes and supplies are provided. You will choose between two curated colorways developed specifically for this workshop.
You’ll glaze your piece during class and either:
• Take it home to fire in your own kiln
or
• Leave it to be fired (details on pickup will be provided)
Snacks will be provided for a mid-session break.
Class size is limited to 10 participants to ensure personal instruction and meaningful interaction with Kathy.
