About this Event
Akshaya Kathak Academy is a Vancouver based Kathak dance school. Founder and Director, Akshaya Surve is a Kathak performer, teacher and choreographer. She is trained in detailed nuances of Banaras and Luckow gharana by her Guru Pt. Mayur Vaidya.
At Akshaya Kathak Academy, we offer a structured curriculum in Kathak. At every level, students are individually evaluated by qualified examiners. At the academy, students are thoroughly prepared in practical as well as theory notes.
Every student is given special attention and tremendous effort is taken in the practical aspect, theory, technicalities, expressions, and teaching our ancient Indian history.
As we gear up for a new academic year, Akshaya Kathak Academy is happy to announce it's new batches in Vancouver and Burnaby.
