enereph - Immortal Mirth | NAGA Release
An evening of carefully curated ambient and downtempo hosted by Vancouver label NAGA in celebration of its second release: Immortal Mirth by Seattle-based artist enereph.
The night will begin with a deep and intricately textured sound bath, followed by a formal presentation of Immortal Mirth; then bookended by an array of jazz and idm-influenced beats, weaving organic flavours with the more futuristic.

About Lobe's DJ Series
Lobe’s DJ Series gives the space and the system over to attuned selectors for the night. Featured artists mix live from the centre of the speaker array, while their continuous output is augmented by shifting modes of spatialization. The walls of the studio are bound to melt away around us.
Mikubat, aka Parsa Nazeri, is a Tehran-born DJ fusing Iranian party culture with the current pulse of the electronic music scene. Their distinctive sound, "LangoBit," blends atmospheric and textural elements with breaky rhythms. Through the project "SAHNEHTRONIX," in collaboration with AAMIROO, Mikubat is bringing early 2000s Iranian electronic music to the forefront of Techno and House, challenging Western-centric narratives with their shattering and irresistible broken rhythms.
IHA is a music and arts project conceived by Apple Cabrera. Along with managing the ambient-keen and genre-defying label NAGA, they are also known to circuit Vancouver's underground and festivals overseas with crates varying from downtempo to deep bass, to jungle-infused wormhole-inducing techno. With roots in collective work for FM radio, building community around experimentations with sound and its relationship to multimedia disciplines is at the forefront of their practice.
