Join us for an intimate evening with Katarzia, one of the most distinctive voices of the Czech-Slovak music scene, blending electronic and jazz influences with deeply personal storytelling. Accompanied by talented pianist Robin Galia, this special performance will bring a fresh, dynamic energy to her music.
Katarzia is a Czech-Slovak singer-songwriter, lyricist, and producer known for introspective lyrics on relationships and social issues. Blending jazz and electronic influences, she has collaborated with artists like Aid Kid and Oliver Torr. With a background in theater and film, she has composed award-winning music for television, film, and stage. Her seventh album, Rest In Euphoria (2024), originated as a contemporary circus score. Combining live band and electronic elements, her performances feature immersive visuals. Born in Nitra, Slovakia, she has lived in Prague since 2014.
Robin Galia is a rising talent in jazz music, currently studying classical piano at the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory in Prague and pursuing piano performance at the Academy of Performing Arts. He has trained under esteemed mentors, including R. Talpová, K. Kasíková, J. Wagner, and O. Kabrna. In 2021, he attended the EUROJAZZ workshop in Greece, working with renowned musicians such as R. Tarenzi and JD Walter. A member of the Ježkovy Stopy Orchestra, he has performed at the Memory of the Nation Prizes. Since 2023, he has been collaborating artistically with singer Katarzia.
