Po vasario 28 d. Jungtinių Amerikos Valstijų ir Izraelio agresijos aktų Pietvakarių Azijoje vėl prasidėjo karas, dar labiau destabilizavęs regioną. Izraelis nuo šių „prevencinių smūgių“ pradžios jau nužudė daugiau nei 1300 civilių ir priverstinai perkėlė 3,2 milijonų civilių Irane („Al Jazeera“ duomenimis).
Karo nusikaltimas, sukrėtęs daugelį – Irane subombarduota mergaičių pradinė mokykla. Preliminarūs tyrimo rezultatai, kuriuos paskelbė „The New York Times“, rodo, kad už šį nusikaltimą, nusinešusį daugiau nei 170 žmonių, daugiausia – vaikų, gyvybes, atsakingos JAV.
Izraelis eskaluoja oro atakas Irane ir sprogdina naftos saugyklas. Teherano gatvėse išsiliejo nafta, sukelti dideli gaisrai ir teroro atmosfera žmonėms ir aplinkai. Pasak „Al Jazeera“ žurnalisto Tohido Asadi, pranešančio iš Teherano: „Susiduriame su kritine karo ir aplinkosaugos situacija.“ Tokių bombardavimų pasekmė – nuodingas lietus.
Tuo pat metu Libane Izraelis bombarduoja gyvenamuosius namus ir pagalbos tarnybas, atvykusias gelbėti nukentėjusiųjų, naikina miestus, nuodija gamtą purkšdamas toksines, tarptautinėje teisėje draudžiamas medžiagas (baltąjį fosforą), pakartotinai skelbia visuotinius priverstinio civilių iškeldinimo nurodymus, taip pat vykdo nelegalią invaziją ir intensyviai okupuoja pietų Libano teritorijas. Nuo išpuolių pradžios daugiau nei 850 tūkst. žmonių buvo priversti palikti savo namus. Per mažiau nei dvi savaites nužudyti mažiausiai 773 žmonės, iš jų 103 vaikai, o daugiau nei 2000 buvo sužeisti.
Lietuvos užsienio reikalų ministras pareiškė: „Negalima leisti Iranui įsigyti ar susikurti branduolinį ginklą. JAV ne kartą įspėjo Iraną dėl galimų pasekmių. Dabar Irano režimas pjauna tai, ką pasėjo“, nors beveik nėra įrodymų, kad Iranas kuria branduolinį ginklą. Tačiau spaudimo Izraeliui atsisakyti savo branduolinių ginklų nematome, kas tik parodo Vakarų imperijų veidmainiškumą.

Reikalaujame, kad Lietuva karinėmis, ekonominėmis ar diplomatinėmis priemonėmis neremtų karo nusikaltimų ir Izraelio bei JAV imperialistinės agresijos.
Lietuva privalo nedelsiant nutraukti savo bendrininkavimą šiame kare.

We Won't Be Complicit in Israel-US War Machine.

On February 28, through an unprovoked act of aggression from the United States of America and Israel, a war was started once again in South-West Asia, costing hundreds of innocent lives of civilians and destabilising the region even further. Israel has thus far killed more than 1,300 civilians and displaced 3.2 million civilians in Iran since the "pre-emptive strikes" started (according to Al Jazeera).
A war crime that shocked many - an elementary girls' school in Iran being bombed, killed more than 170 people, most of them children. Preliminary findings of an investigation, published by the New York Times, indicate that the US was responsible.
Israel has since escalated its aggression by bombing oil facilities in Iran which has caused an oil spillage in the streets of Tehran and significant fires and an atmosphere of terror unto the people of Iran. According to Al Jazeera’s Tohid Asadi, reporting from Tehran: “We are dealing with a critical situation in terms of war and environmental circumstances in the capital.” The ensuing result of such bombings is toxic rain, oil drops falling from the sky.
At the same time, Israel is terrorizing the people of Lebanon — bombing residential homes and rescue teams that arrive to help the injured, destroying cities, poisoning the nature by spraying toxic substances prohibited under international law (white phosphorus), repeatedly issuing mass orders for the forced displacement of civilians, and carrying out an illegal invasion while intensively occupying territories in southern Lebanon. Since the beginning of the attacks, more than 850,000 people have been forced to leave their homes. In less than two weeks, at least 773 people have been killed, including 103 children, and more than 2,000 have been injured.
Meanwhile, the Lithuanian Minister of Foreign Affairs has stated: "Iran cannot be allowed to acquire or develop a nuclear weapon. The United States has repeatedly warned Iran of possible consequences. Now the Iranian regime is reaping what it has sown” despite there being little to no evidence of Iran developing a nuclear weapon, however, the lack of pressure on Israel to give up it’s nuclear weaponry is another show of Western Imperial hypocrisy.
For how long will the USA and Israel’s tyranny over the SWANA region remain?!
We demand that Lithuania does not militarily, economically, or diplomatically support war crimes and the imperialist aggression of Israel and the United States.
Lithuania must end it’s complicity in this war now.
