About this Event
Continuing a 20 year tradition, Karmafest Unity is a holistic wellness and yoga festival with yoga, movement, meditation and wellness classes all day! We have live music and vendors offering great products and services, and are excited to be closing our Saturday this year with a Sunset Ecstatic Dance!
Sunday we'll be back for more including Kirtan with Localokah and closing out with Connor & The Wild Hunt!
June 13th- 10am to 9pm
June 14th- 10am to 6pm
***no overnight camping is available, however there is a campground in the state park where we are located, Susquehanna State Park, and B&Bs and hotels in Havre de Grace and Aberdeen ***

Sunset Ecstatic Dance
Info: Halsey Payne (AKA HP Tellem) has been a DJ/Mash-up artist since 2011, with performance roots in the electronic music scene and artistic influences that span from hip hop to classical music and countless genres and mediums beyond. His event organizing has a foundational philosophy of resistance through community building, freedom for all, catharsis through creativity, and kindness for the inner child within all of us.
His sets have a strong emphasis on storytelling through great care of the energetic flow of a set with eclectic song selection matched with song structure manipulation that makes creative and complex mash-ups. This approach of eclecticism and the combination of musicality with viscerality offers a unique dance experience that invokes catharsis through movement that spans a wide spectrum of emotional and ecstatic states.
Halsey also hosts Story Circles and co-facilitates Contact Improv jams in Baltimore.
