The teachings on Karma Cause and Effect are the foundation of Buddhist practice that make us responsible for our own lives. This lecture aims to explain how these teachings can be used to give our lives meaning and lead to lasting happiness.
The lecture will run approximately 1 hour followed by a Q&A and a guided meditation. Lectures and meditation are suitable for newcomers and experienced Buddhists alike.
About the speaker
Dima Laperashvili was born in 1975 in Tbilisi, Georgia (USSR). In 1995, he moved to Moscow, and in 1998 he took Refuge with Lama Ole Nydahl. From 2001, for over ten years, he lived in the Moscow Buddhist Meditation Center. He is currently also a resident in the new Center, where he lives together with his wife Polina. For nearly seven years, Dima was involved in the process of acquiring this property, known as Big Moskovsky. One of his responsibilities is the official representation of the Buddhist Union of the Diamond Way Karma Kagyu Lineage before the Russian and Moscow authorities.
