About this Event
An Evening of Faith & Reason
What does it mean to believe in God in a world that increasingly says science has made faith obsolete? Is there really such a thing as truth, or is it all relative? And who exactly is Jesus — just another wise teacher, or something far more?
These are the questions your neighbors, coworkers, and family members are asking. On Monday, April 20, Holy Cross Parish Hall is hosting an evening designed to meet those questions head-on.
Karlo Broussard — staff apologist for Catholic Answers and author of multiple books on the Catholic faith — will deliver his talk "Apologetics for an Age of Unbelief," a compelling, accessible presentation that equips Catholics to defend their faith and gives skeptics a genuine reason to take it seriously.
This is not a lecture for insiders. It is an evening for anyone who has ever wrestled with faith in a skeptical world — whether you are a lifelong Catholic, a lapsed Catholic, a curious Protestant, or someone with no faith background at all. Karlo's approach is warm, clear, and genuinely engaging. He doesn't dodge the hard questions. He answers them.
Following the talk, Karlo will take questions from the audience and then remain for a book signing and reception. Light refreshments will be provided by the Knights of Columbus.
Doors open at 6:00 PM. Talk begins at 7:00 PM. Admission is free. A goodwill donation basket will be available for those who wish to contribute.
Presented by the Holy Cross High School Catholic Mission & Identity Committee and the Knights of Columbus. Co-sponsored by the Diocese of Wilmington.
