🎤 Karla’s self-titled debut album (1977) launched her into the spotlight with classics like “I Can’t Hold On”, “Home”, and the emotional “Lose Again”, all of which showcased her intimate, honest songwriting style. Her follow-up albums, "Restless Nights" (1979) and "Wild Heart of the Young" (1982), solidified her status, featuring radio hits like “Personally”, and collaborations with artists like Don Henley, Joe Walsh, and Peter Frampton.
💿 In 1999, Columbia/Legacy released "All My Life – The Best of Karla Bonoff", a stunning 16-track retrospective of her career, including the Grammy-winning “All My Life” made famous by Ronstadt and Aaron Neville. Karla's work also appears in major film soundtracks like Footloose, 8 Seconds, and About Last Night.
🎸 As a founding member of the pioneering band Bryndle (with Kenny Edwards, Wendy Waldman, and Andrew Gold), Karla helped shape the early California folk-pop sound. The group reunited in the ‘90s and released two acclaimed albums — "Bryndle" (1995) and "House of Silence" (2002).
