Express yourself with a flower crown!
Join Nōku te Ao Capital E to celebrate Pride with The Tīwhas, the premier girl group from Pōneke. Tamariki and whānau are invited to show their true colours by making a colourful paper flower crown inspired by icons of fashion, Carmen Rupe and Marsha P. Johnson.
Afterwards, tamariki and rangatahi can take their fabulous flower crowns home to show off.
Held at Ngā Pou Ruahine under the rawa, Earth Mothers, level two, in Te Matapihi ki te Ao Nui, 65 Victoria Street, Wellington Central.
Free, donations appreciated. All welcome (best suits ages 8-15).
Saturday 21 March | Drop in anytime between 10.30am-1.30pm.
