Kansas City St. Patrick's Day Parade 2026 — 'Irish Kicks in 26: A Celebration of Sport'! Celebrating the Irish in Kansas City since 1974. The parade starts at Linwood and Broadway in Midtown (traditionally called Kerry Patch in the 1800s after the large Irish immigrant population) and proceeds south along Broadway to 43rd Street. This parade has grown from a 'block and one half' route in 1974 to one of the largest St. Patrick's Day celebrations in the nation, attracting over 110,000 spectators. The parade committee is a non-profit 501c3 organization devoted to providing a family-oriented parade celebrating the Irish heritage of Kansas City and its citizens. Free public event.
