It's that time of year when what once was a sad, useless, empty can is now a shining vessel hope for McMaster Children's Hospital. It's Southern Ontario Beer Boys KANS4KIDS Drive! We're so proud to be a part of campaign again this year, accepting your empty beer, wine, or cocktail cans and bottles all month to be donated to the hospital.
While we'll be accepting donations in the taproom retail store throughout September (so you don't have to hold onto them for a whole month), our big KANS4KIDS Collection Party is happening right here at Great Lakes Brewery on Saturday October 4th. Come by for Pizza, Smash Burgers, and other snack from the GLB Food Truck, a raffle for this year's Octopus Wants to Fight Muskoka Chair, and live music on the lawn.
We're aiming to beat our last year's total of 16,473 cans and bottles collected! Here's how you can help:
• Bring your empties to the brewery retail store anytime we're open in September
• Buy some of our S.O.B.B. Pale Ale (coming soon) with $1 each can sold being added to the donation pot
• Buy raffle tickets for the Octo Muskoka Chair from our retail store starting Monday, September 15th for $10 each or 3 for $20
• Bring your empties to our KANS4KIDS Collection Party on Saturday October 4th and have an S.S.O.B. Pale Ale here!
