KanKouran 41st Annual Conference and Concert

CONFERENCE: AUGUST 29 – SEPTEMBER 1

Hundreds of participants from across the country will visit the nation’s capital August 29 – September 1 to partake in four days of intense workshops in traditional African dance and drum, taught by master dancers and drummers from Mali, Senegal, Liberia, the Congo, and Guinea, as KanKouran celebrates its 41st Annual Conference and Concert

*CONCERT TICKET SALES END AUGUST 24 ON EVENTBRITE. ADDITIONALLY, TICKETS WILL BE SOLD IN PERSON AT THE CONFERENCE .*

*CONCERT TICKETS WILL BE AT THE CONFERENCE LOCATION FOR PICKUP.

*ALL REMAINING TICKETS NOT RETRIEVED WILL BE HELD AT "WILL CALL" AT HOWARD'S CRAMTON AUDITORIUM

Regarding health and safety protocols during the conference, all participants will be required:

1. Exit the dance space between classes for cleaning.

2. Congregate outside the dance space between classes.

In addition, there will be no observations. Only those people taking classes or drumming for class will be permitted in the dance space.
