Have you ridden a class and sat there wondering what on Earth the judges are actually looking for and judging? Maybe you've been to a show and the judge awarded the win to a horse who maybe made a small mistake while your horse did the workout perfectly...Showing is a balance of quality, type and work... And so often on the sidelines or after the show we hear people asking lots of questions about what the judge was looking for or why they placed a class the way they did.
The purpose of this show is to welcome riders of all levels and abiltiy to come and have a go, get some advice and feedback in a supportive and friendly environment. We know this is a great idea, as we have had coaches and judges already reach out to help when we put the idea out late last year.
Numbers will be kept manageable and we will be running the same format as our Unofficial Horse of the Year (perfect practice, right?) so everyone has an opportunity to get some feedback, along with some tips and advice along the way.
