Join us for a unique, adventure-filled hike through the rolling terrain of the Penny Road Pond area, where we’ll explore the fascinating landforms shaped by ancient glaciers, uncover the stories of past ecological and human events, and decode the landscape using historical and topographical maps. This hike is perfect for those who love geology, history, and outdoor adventure!

• Date: Saturday, April 4th
• Time: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
• Location: Penny Road Pond Parking Lot- we will meet here and carpool to our start point
• Hike Route: A challenging 5-mile trek featuring kames, wetlands, and other dynamic landscapes
• Distance: 5 miles
• Difficulty: Challenging – uneven terrain with elevation changes, not on a paved or limestone path

• Sturdy hiking boots or shoes
• Weather-appropriate clothing
• Water and snacks
• Notebook and pen (optional)
