The Taranaki Symphony Orchestra returns to the beautiful St Andrew's Church on Liardet Street for their final performance for 2025. Taking advantage of St Andrew's stunning acoustic, the orchestra will divide into their various orchestral groups and present a remarkable programme of chamber music by Richard Strauss (woodwind), Giovanni Gabrielli, Morten Lauridsen, William Byrd (brass), Gustav Holst and Peter Warlock (strings). The orchestra will then come back together, along with the percussion, to present the finale with music by Percy Grainger and Ralph Vaughan Williams. This promises to be a programme of stirring and highly enjoyable music and is certainly not too be missed!
