We see the energy of musical trailblazer Julia Perry captured in gritty, pulsating lyricism, before Mathilde Wantenaar’s creation, serene and enchanting, restores calm – for now. But the night is young, so Aaron Breeze – Highly Commended in the 2024 Rushworth Composition Prize – conjures up a snapshot of a night at a famous club.
