Kalei Yamanoha has been a musical explorer since childhood, learning traditional Hawaiian music with his father and expanding to play in dozens of projects across the United States and beyond. A multi-instrumentalist equally at home on guitar, accordion, banjo, steel guitar, brass and more, Kalei deploys his broad musical vocabulary in service of songs that grow from tradition, travel, and curiosity. Over years of touring, collaborating, recording, and teaching, he’s developed a sound that feels rooted yet fluid, honoring Hawai’i while welcoming influences from around the world.
