Join us on our very first Kaitiakitanga Nature Walk on Auckland’s Motuihe Island / Te Motu-a-Ihenga.Enjoy an immersive day on a Hauraki Gulf island.
Transformed from farmland, this island has a variety of native bush walks, white sandy beaches, significant historic sites, and is home to native plants, lizards and endangered birds such as kiwis and tuatara.
The day will include a leisurely bush walk, a beach clean-up and a chance to relax with a BYO picnic.

7:40 AM Meet at Pier Z, Westhaven Marina, 31 Westhaven Drive.
8:00 AM Ferry departs Auckland
4:30 PM Ferry departs Motuihe Island
