Kade Brown is one of Melbourne’s most sought after pianists and has performed with many of Australia’s fine jazz musicians since moving from the south coast of NSW in 2014.
The Trio is well known for playing a selection of their favourite swinging jazz tunes from the 50s and 60s from American jazz greats Thelonious Monk, Dexter Gordon and Wayne Shorter, as well as some music from Australian jazz luminaries Bernie McGann and Alastair Spence. Expect deep grooves, textures and soaring melodies, delivered with the atmosphere of contemporary jazz and the intensity of 60s post-bop.
