KAA NAMI, Oakland: the theme of the night is WITNESS.

Specifically, the courage and terror that is witnessing yourself, and the massive creative and liberatory potential it offers us.

KAA NAMI Oakland will be an evening of intimate performances that invites the audience into reflection and katharsis.

All proceeds go to the Wabiro Kollective, a political art space in Kisumu, Kenya. We raising $20,000 to fully equip a audio-visual live production studio in Western Kenya— for and by artists marginalized artists.

Masks required and provided.--while not eating/drinking.

About KAA NAMI and : We are a Nairobi/Kisumu based art collective bringing up and coming artists page to stage. We are organizing a 4 city performance tour, KAA NAMI (swahili for "sit with me"). Debuting as a intimate concert in March of 2025 in Nairobi, Kenya, and continuing on to Indianapolis, Oakland, and NYC.
